These are the 3 orphaned Asian small clawed otter pups whose mother was accidentally killed while villagers were clearing their land. Fortunately they live near me and brought them to me to raise. We have them on low lactose puppy/kitten replacement milk for 32 days now. The are born deaf and blind. Their eyes open at around 30 days. They suckle milk up to 40 days. These otters are found only in Palawan in the entire Philippines and their habitat is rapidly being taken over by humans and or they are poached by illegal wildlife traders as pets.We will take them to the creek on our property and then to the mangroves when they are old enough and then to the mangroves from which they came.
