The most trafficked animal on the planet today for meat and its scales!

This pangolins' mother was killed and eaten. This one was given to me to rescue. I have never rescued or even seen one before. It's been challenging. This is the morning of day 4 of it in our care. We plan to release him when he grows strong enough to survive on his own.It seems the creature needs company. In the wild, it clings to its mother's' tail for up to 4 months according to what I have read. I have been letting it crawl on me when it feels the need. I let him cling to me when I go about my day. Read more about him on my blog at http://palawan-pangolin.blogspot.com/
