Doctor removes huge live parasite from woman's head
Disturbing footage has emerged of a nine-centimetre-long live parasite being removed from a woman's head in China.
The video, filmed in Jieyang, Guangdong Province earlier this month, shows the parasite wiggling on a plate after the surgery.
The woman, named Wang, reportedly fainted in an alley before she was taken to hospital.
She was first diagnosed with a tumour in her head before the parasite was found.
She underwent surgery for the parasite to be removed and its nest to be cleared.
