Hammerhead shark lies on kayaker's lap after being caught
Amazing footage of a fully grown hammerhead shark lying on top of a kayaker after it was caught off the coast of Australia.
The video, filmed off Port Stephens, New South Wales, shows the shark lying on the fisherman Adam Crofts' lap after he caught it a few hundred metres from "populated" beach.
"I catch sharks quite a lot off my kayak - all different types," he wrote online.
"Port Stephens is full of sharks - nearby there is a well known great white shark breeding ground."
"Not many people on kayaks try and catch sharks due to - well - the fact they may be eaten, but it is easy to do and I have caught several," he continued.
