We are a campaign group that fights the injustice done to women born in the 1950s (on or after 6 April 1951) regarding the changes to their state pension age.
as the budget is announced the timing was to fall on international woman's day .
Monday and the petition for Waspi was denied by the government on the grounds: on the united kingdom budget day the woman struck out at the rise in woman’s pension age
The government's response read: "The points made in this petition have been considered by the government. No further changes can be justified given the underlying imperative must be to focus public resources on those most in need."
