A heartwarming video from the Newsflare archive of a deer being rescued after falling into a frozen river in Parshall, Colorado.

The video, shot in March 2017, shows the two people saving the doe from the frozen waters using a rope.

"Although the thinning ice kept breaking beneath their weight and threatened to give way entirely, we successfully pulled her free," the filmer wrote online.

Ranch hands at Bar Lazy J Guest Ranch, located along the Colorado River in in the tiny town of Parshall, discovered a young doe trapped in the frozen waters. Lassoing her with a rope to ensure she wouldn't be pulled under the ice, they then carefully walked out to her to pull her in, Although the thinning ice kept breaking beneath their weight and threatened to give way entirely, we successfully pulled her free.
