A simple but shocking video where I am chatting the fathers of these young boys. This video is shot in Bukidnon, Mindanao and is one of the poorest areas of the Philippines. These kids live in very simple nipa houses with no running water, no electricity and no bathroom.
For fun they have built wooden bikes out of scrap wood. Never underestimate the power of a human mind!
Our kids all demand the newest phone, I-Pad, brand name bike and the list goes on. Over here on the other side of the world these kids are hoping for 3 meals a day and their only toy is a wooden bike.
None of those boys understand a word of english so saying "Hog" and "Harley" mean nothing but I was just having fun.
