Boy Dangles from Balcony in China
A dramatic video has emerged from China showing a 5-year-old boy dangling from a fourth floor balcony in Shanxi province last week before being rescued by firemen.
The boy, who had been playing alone at home, slipped through the bottom of the railings and was held for more than an hour and a half by a downstairs neighbour before help arrived.
He had locked the door to the apartment from the inside which hampered rescue efforts but, once inside, the firemen cut him free within ten minutes.
