BAMBOO TRAIN CRASH IN CAMBODIA
A dramatic video has been posted online showing a small train carrying tourists crashing head-on with another train on the same track in Battambang, Cambodia.
Jolyon Philcox from Melbourne, Australia was travelling in the country late last year when he decided to take a trip on a ‘Norry’ - a small bamboo train which can run at speeds of up to 50 kilometres per hour.
His fellow passengers can be seen enjoying the ride before they see another 'Norry', carrying locals, coming towards them further up the track.
The footage captures the moment the trains collide and the screaming tourists are thrown into grass either side of the track.
Amazingly, no one was injured in the accident.
