Heartwarming footage of a man with serious injuries following a car accident being reunited with his dog.

The video, filmed at a hospital in LA, California, USA on March 20, shows Jim Tavare being taken outside the hospital in a wheelchair to see his dog Mr Kippy, who was with him at the time of the accident.

Jim spent two weeks in intensive care battling multiple broken bones and collapsed lungs but, by March, had recovered enough to see his dog.

Following a serious car accident, Jim Tavaré spent 3 weeks in intensive care battling multiple broken bones and collapsed lungs. Today he was able to get into a wheelchair and was taken outside the hospital to be reunited with his dog 'Mr Kippy', who was with Jim at the time of the accident. Music at the end of the clip was performed and dedicated to Jim by Bernard Salles with Orchestre Symphonique du Sud-Ouest.
