Heartwarming video, from China, of three police officers standing on well covers for two hours in rainstorm to ensure marathon runners' safety.

The footage, filmed in Dongyang, Zhejiang Province on April 9, shows a police officer standing on a well cover with water spraying out of it when thousands of marathon runners run passing by him.

Because of the rainstorm, water submerged the road and sprayed out of wells like fountain.

In order to ensure runners' safety in the marathon competition, police officers stood on wells to keep the covers fixed as well as acted as warning piles to notice runners.

Three police officers stood there for more than two hours until all runners finished the competition.
