Yesterday I was able to spend almost four hours watching and photographing this huge boar (male) grizzly, Brutis. He weighs somewhere around 700 pounds (318 kg). The stunning power you can see in his head, jaws, shoulders, and claws is pretty amazing! He did have a good sized audience the whole time and crossed the road back and fourth twice. I've left the sound in just to show the reality of much wildlife viewing in this area. Even during the quietest seasons of the year like right now, most wildlife is viewed from the road, and there usually are large crowds of fairly noisy people and vehicles. It's rather amazing to me that bears and other creatures have learned to live with this! What you hear here is the reality of most wildlife experiences in national parks.
