Turning Driver catches the TTC!

Buy video

Driving eastbound on Lawrence east of Morningside in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, I stopped in traffic leaving a safety gap between myself and the vehicle ahead. A motorist decided to take advantage of this gap to blindly turn into the Library parking lot to my right... even though I sounded my horn when he was 1/4 into his turn, he continued to turn, right into the path of a Toronto Transit Commission (TTC) Bus loaded with passengers!

The impact was not that severe, but did push him back a few feet and dislodged his corner light... he then proceeded to complete his turn into the parking lot, the Driver of the TTC Bus was pointing to the light hanging from his vehicle. There was only minor damage to the car and no damage to the TTC Bus, and no reports of any injuries.
