Shocking footage has emerged from China of a mother and child narrowly avoiding being run over by a crane.

The CCTV video, filmed in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province on April 15, shows to mother and child being knocked off their scooter as the crane turns a corner.

Amazingly, she manages to get out the way just in time, saving her child in the process.

She did suffer "skin trauma" injuries on her legs but the child was uninjured.

After a while, the mother stands up herself, while carrying her child in arms.

Fortunately, the crane stopped in time and they were not run over by it.

The mother only had some skin trauma on leg and the child was not injured.
