Petting a wild great horned owlet
I have watched a great horned mom and dad for three years now. The first year they had two babies, then four, and four again this year. The mom and dad are comfortable enough with me now to let me get within five feet of them, and also get close enough to their babies to touch them. Even though the babies are flying now, I still sometimes get the chance to pet them, like I am in my video.
