Helicopter rescues injured skiier stranded on Austrian glacier
A video has been posted online showing a dramatic helicopter rescue on a glacier in Austria.
Jan Ondřej and his friends were on a ski holiday in the Dachstein mountains earlier this month when his girlfriend Jane crashed on a slope, breaking her ankle.
As the group were on a steep incline, in a remote location, local rescue teams arrived in a helicopter to provide assistance.
Shortly before she fell, Jane was using a camera to film her descent so the entire, amazing rescue was caught on film.
