Dashcam shows John Lewis truck forcing learner off the road
This shocking footage shows the moment a lorry driver forced a learner off the road while overtaking illegally. Driving instructor Shujah Saklan captured the John Lewis truck on his dashcam as it overtook them before cutting back in front too soon to avoid on coming traffic. As a result, his student was forced to swerve on to a grass verge to avoid a potentially lethal collision. The footage shows the lorry driver breaking traffic laws by overtaking on double white lines, which signifies that no overtaking is allowed.
