Overtaking on a Pedestrian Crossing - Dash Cam Footage New Zealand
Tuesday morning commute along Hutt Road, spot the number of cars overtaking on the median strip, and then a d**khead in a Ranger takes overtaking to the limit, by going on the wrong side of the pedestrian crossing. And then to top it off, being undertaken by a d**khead in a van!
In New Zealand, all of these overtaking manoeuvres are illegal. The gap left between dashcam vehicle and one in front at pedestrian crossing is as required per NZ Road Code, if Dashcam driver had moved forward they would have been blocking the pedestrian crossing.
