Hundreds of students from the University of Connecticut (UConn) went wild on the streets of Storrs on Sunday after their team, the Huskies, reached the final four of the NCAA Basketball Championship.

Hundred’s stampeded up a street in the town, with one climbing on a news van as they chanted USA.

They made torches from newspapers and circled around two police officers and chanted in celebration together.

It came after the team beat Michigan State 60-54 at Madison Square Gardens on Sunday afternoon to win the East Regional division, despite them being seeded 7th.

It’s the sixth time the Connecticut Huskies have reached the final four, and if they can claim the title at the Cowboys stadium this weekend, it’ll be their fourth championship win.
