Baby Gracie Nye loves the shape of Ed Sheeran
Four-month-old Gracie Nye was videoed by her mum Joanne Nye in the midst of a screaming episode. However the moment she hears Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You song she becomes instantly silent.
And apparently, according to her parents Gareth and Joanne, the singers music calms her every time without fail.
Gareth, 25, said: “Gracie was born with hip dysplasia so has had to wear a Pavlik Harness 24 hours a day and has done so from being two weeks of age.“She is being treated at Alder Hey who are fantastic, but sometimes she gets really frustrated.
“But listening to Ed Sheeran calms her down.
“She loves all his songs but Shape of You and Perfect from his new album seem to be her favourites.
“I think shes his youngest fan!”
Sales assistant Joanne, 29 and Gareth, a research doctor, from Newton Le Willows, also have a seven-year-old daughter Megan and they are all big fans of the singer.Gareth added: “Me and Joanne are already going to see Ed in Manchester later in the year.
“We have his music on regularly in the house and it was just by chance one day, a few weeks ago, that she was really upset and Shape of You came on and it calmed her right down.
“We thought it was just coincidence but it works every time.”
