Woman gets ticket revoked after council painted bay too short
A busker was left fuming when she was wrongfully slapped with a ticket for parking over the lines of a bay - that was too short. Musician Jayne Snow, 26, was slapped with a £50 fine after her car was seen to be over the white lines of a bay. But after a little investigation Jayne was quick to discover the size of the bay did not match up to the council's own standards - making the fine invalid because it was almost five feet too short. The popular London busker took to Facebook to vent her frustration and in a viral video seen more than 100,000 times she measured her bay against Medway Council's standards.
