A funny video has emerged of an elephant calf pretending to charge a safari car in Kruger National Park, South Africa.

The footage, shot on May 7, shows the baby elephant shaking its head and running towards the car as the passengers laugh at its behaviour.

"We had to drive about 1km backwards, because they kept walking towards us," the filmer wrote online.

This Elephant Calf decided to "protect" it's Mom by giving mock Charges towards Safari tourists.
"We stayed in Polokwane at our friends house. Anton Botha was our guide. We knew him from one of our first trips in South Africa with Drifters..
We drove on the 7th of May for one day true Kruger Park. First we saw more than 100 buffalo, with a lot of little ones. The trip during this day was very nice. At the end of the trip we met this Elephant family . We had to drive about 1km backwards, because they kept walking towards us. It was somewhere between Satara and the Orpen Gate in the late afternoon. .We think somewhere around Bobbejaans Krans because it was a long bend in the road we had to reverse."
