Dramatic CCTV footage shows Tesla crash into shop
Dramatic security camera footage has emerged from China of a Tesla car careering off the road and crashing into a shop.
The video, which was filmed in Nantong, Jiangsu Province on May 20, shows the Tesla vehicle just missing a pedestrian as it smashes at speed into the shop.
Locals then help to rescue the driver through the boot (trunk) of the vehicle.
The driver pressed the accelerator instead of the brake when he tried to avoid a scooter, according to local media.
