A drone video has emerged of four holidaymakers helping a naked swimmer to get out of the water as he is caught in rough sea in Ibiza, Spain.

The footage, shot on May 10, shows the swimmer holding onto the edge of a cliff as a man takes his arm to help him walk to safety.

Eric Snyder, who helped in the rescue, told Newsflare: "I was standing about 100 yards from the ocean [...] and I looked out and saw this guy just swimming, bobbing up and down, I looked at him and gave him a thumbs up twice, he looked like he was having a hard time swimming."

"So the 4 of us ran as fast as we could to about 100 yards down the shore on the rocks."

"I was signaling the guy to swim across the shore and not towards it, the rip currents was extremely strong," he added.

"I grabbed his hand and it slipped the first time and he fell back into the water, and the waves pushed him up close to me again and thats when I grabbed him and pulled him up onto the flat rock, and thats when we discovered he was naked."

"We knew he was okay after getting him out of the water!"
