Lorry loading pea sprouts rescues people escaping from burning house
Footage has emerged from China of a lorry loading pea sprouts rescuing more than a dozen of people escaping from burning house.
The video, filmed in Qinhuangdao, Hebei Province on June 3, shows a lorry driving to stop under a burning restaurant picking up several people jumping out of the windows.
According to local news, the three-storey restaurant bursted into fire and several people climbed out of the windows on the second floor to evacuate.
Since the lorry loaded full of pea sprouts, the driver came up with the idea to drive his lorry under the restaurant and let the people jump onto the pea sprouts before landing onto the ground.
