Clown doctors serenade boy before he receives heart surgery
Heartwarming footage has emerged from the UK of the The Clown Doctors serenading a child before he receives heart surgery.
The video, captured at the Freeman Hospital in Newcastle on June 13, shows the performers helping to calm the nerves of seven-year old Oscar before he is taken to the operating theatre.
The group can be seen standing around his bed playing ukelele and singing
"The Clown Doctors came to see him as he was upset and getting anxious about going into theatre, they had been chatting to him and messing about with him," his mother wrote online.
"It made Oscar relaxed and had him laughing," she added.
