Minke Whale, Falmouth
I would need to ask that credit also be given to AK Wildlife Cruises.
On the 10th April, AK Wildlife cruises were running a trip through Falmouth bay. On our computer screens, we could see a huge amount of fish in the water, including a tight ball of fish very close to the sea bed. We slowed down and looking out to see I just saw the back and fin of a minke whale break the water's surface. We kept a safe distance from the animal and rode the sea with the young whale for a short time, we had to ride at 10.2 knots just to keep up with the animal - no doubt in seventh heaven with all the fish around!
