Footage of the early stages of the major fire which broke out in Grenfell Tower in West London in the early hours of June 14.

In the video, debris can be seen falling from the tower as the fire spreads out.

"After the video ends, people emerged from their windows shouting for help and telling us that they cannot breathe," the filmer told Newsflare.

According to reports, 200 firefighters and 20 ambulances were sent to the scene.

Many residents were sent to five hospitals across the city and casualties have been confirmed.
