STORY :

Hundreds of thousands of Muslims take pledge against Terrorism on early morning hours of Thursday , June 22nd 2017 at Malappuram in Southern India . The Pledge taken as part of their prayer meeting in connection with the 27th night of Ramadan . 

the 27th night of Ramadan called " Lailtul Qadar " it believes that this night is better than a thousand months. At Swalath Nagar just 15 Kilo Meters away from Southern India's Calicut airport the devotees assembled for the night long prayer. This is considered to be India's one of the Largest Muslim Prayer congregation. 

The Prayer meeting and the pledge was organized by Madin Academy a charitable trust led by its Chairman Sayyid Ibrahim Khaleel Al Bukhari . Various other Sufi's and Muslim leaders were also participated.

The pledge was the last session of the prayer meeting. Sayyid Bukhari led the prayer meeting. And this year the Madin Academy begins a novel initiative " One Million peace Home " 

It’s a project to counter terrorism, this is the project part of Madin Academy’s 20th year.

Karnataka State Minister for food and public distribution U.T Khader, has launched the programme . The academy would also bring in 2000 ‘Peace Volunteers’ for its anti terrorism campaign which is to be launched soon as part of the programme. The volunteers will visit houses to spread the message of harmony and togetherness. They will conduct special learning sessions on the harmony message of Islam and will make awareness of the atrocities of terror organizations like Islamic State.
