Hippo killing a wildebeest on the Mara River in Tanzania
Very surprising site up on the Mara River in the Serengeti NP, Tanzania. The young hippo in question tried to bite one wildebeest as it passed him in the river then went after another stuck near a rock in the middle of the river with more success. After getting a good grasp of the unfortunate animal, the hippo proceeded to take the animal downstream through the pod, drowning it in the process.
