Impressive footage has emerged of a thick cloud of smoke rising from a large wildfire in Brian Head, UT, USA.

The video, shot on June 22, shows the cloud of smoke bellowing over the beautiful landscapes of the area.

According to reports, over 11,000 acres acres of land have been affected by the fire and hundreds of homes were evacuated.

The Brian Head Wildfire near Cedar Breaks National Monument in Utah grew rapidly in the last 24 hours to cover nearly 11,000 acres of land. This video features clips of the fire viewed from Cedar City along I-15 and spectacular views of the fire's billowing clouds from various sites around Cedar Breaks National Monument. Utah's governor says the fire was likely caused by a person using a torch to burn weeds.
