I was travelling back from a marriage function in Kadapa District of Andhrapadesh, India, to my work place in Nellore, Andhrapadesh, India. This incident happened in the forest stretch between Chitvel and Rapur. It was around 11 am. I saw the goats on the road and slowed down. The person in charge of the goats,made them move to one side and i slowly picked up speed seeing all the goats on one side, with less disturbance. But i was wrong. As soon as i reached the last group, something got them agitated and all of a sudden they jumped towards the road,towards my moving car. Even though i pressed the brakes, the goats were too close,that i could avoid hitting them. But nothing fatal. In quick response, i pressed the brake and brought the car to stand still. No injuries to the goats or to the car. I am happy and goats are happy. But i left the scene with a good lesson- always expect the unexpected.
