This is the heart-warming moment a newborn baby is rescued with moments to spare after being dumped among bins - and bitten by ANTS.

The infant was spotted wrapped in a pink blanket and with bite marks covering her body yesterday at 1.30am in Chonburi, Thailand.

Bin man Rungroj Attra, 53, hd been clearing rubbish but picked her up and called the police - who believe she had been deliberately concealed so she would die.

But touching footage shows the amazing moment the almost-lifeless girl sprung back into life as a nurse desperately taps her head.

The girl let out a loud cry before being cradled and driven away in the arms of a nurse.

She is now being cared for at the Chonburi Hospital while police investigate where her mother is.
