Shocking footage has emerged from China of trees and mud rolling down a hill because of landslide nearly burying the vehicles on road.

The video, filmed in Xiangtan, Hunan Province, shows tree branches suddenly falling onto the road from a hill nearly hitting a car.

Since the tree branches block the road, other vehicles driving to the place start to reverse, while more mud and trees are sliding down.

A female passenger in the car opens the door to run away.

Fortunately, no casualties were reported.
