Lioness ambushes hyena in Kruger National Park
An impressive video has emerged of a lioness ambushing a hyena and attacking it.
The footage, shot on July 1 in Kruger National Park in South Africa shows a hyena walking walking along the road, apparently injured.
Then, a lioness, hidden in the bushes, jumps onto the hyena and start following it.
"While the footage might be a little hard to stomach, it's a great example of the hate between Lions and Hyenas," the filmer wrote.
"The problem is that both the lions and hyenas hunt similar preys, cover almost the same ground as well as are the scavengers of the same animal remains, therefore, both possess competition for each other," they added,
