Two lorries have crashed in Anhui Province, China spilling hundreds of watermelons onto the motorway.

According to local media, a lorry carrying air-conditioning units smashed into a stationary lorry which was carrying the melons.

No-one was injured in the crash but it took local authorities three hours to clear the road of melons.

Footage has emerged from China of transport lorries rear-ending on motorway because one driver tired driving, spilling hundreds of watermelons on road.

The video, filmed in Chuzhou, Anhui Province on July 2, shows the lorry tipping on its side and watermelons broken on the road.

According to local news, a lorry loading air-conditioners rear-ended another lorry loading watermelons stopping on motorway as the previous lorry driver tired driving.

Thousands-kilogram watermelons and air-conditioners both spilled on road, while two vehicles were damaged severely.

Fortunately, two drivers were not injured.

After three-hour cleaning work, the road was back to normal.

While, the case was in further investigation.
