Little boy with rare condition asked parents to complete a 5K. This is the moment he crossed the finish line
Giovanni is a 9 year old boy from Pennsylvania living with a rare condition called Schwartz-Jampel syndrome.
In April he asked his parents to participate in a 5K and chose an event for breast cancer.
Today he crossed the finish line with his mom, brother, and sister by his side. Dad ran ahead to film that special moment. Giovanni is living proof of the saying, "Where there is a will there is a way."
Giovanni's condition makes it difficult for him to walk long distances and he recently underwent a hip reconstruction surgery. He refuses to let that stop him!
