Male leopard feeding on impala kill, ending with a scary stare.
Just to have the opportunity to see a leopard in the wild is a huge previlage and great experience. These creatures are mostly shy, solitary and difficult to find. To see a big male feeding on a kill that he took up a tree is something we do not see often .Fascinating to watch indeed. One also need to show a huge level of respect for these dangerous predators. If a leopard actually stops feeding and make such an effort to stare you straight in the eyes as seen in the last part of this video, you know you have over stayed your welcome and it is time to leave him in peace while feeding. I did exactly that after getting that stare.
