There is no better sound or noise to bring the continet of Africa to mind, than the roaring call of a big male lion. Sat one night, all alone, for a few hours till past midnight, with this male lion. Him and his brother were on a buffalo kill for 4 days and were absolutely bloated.The end of the video show just exactly how full the one was. To be out there at night, in the middle of the wilderness, spending time with this guy and then he starts roaring is absolutely pricesless. A lions roar can be heard from up to 8km's away,used as communication among themselves or letting other lions know they must stay clear of the area. This guys was 60m's from me.
