An amusing video has emerged from the UK of a man turning up to a stag party dressed as Ali G because his friends lied to him that it was fancy dress.

The footage, captured in the UK, shows the man walking sheepishly through the train carriage in a bright yellow shell-suit as his mates crack up all around him.

According to the filmer, the man was due to get on at a later train station, so they told him they were all dressing up as Sacha Baron Cohen characters knowing he'd have no way of changing into normal clothes once on the train.
