Footage has emerged from China showing a lorry driver shunting a police car out of the way to avoid being inspected.

In the clip, which was filmed in Chuzhou, Anhui Province on July 22, police stop the overloaded lorry and remove something covering the vehicle's license plate.

As police continue their inspection, the driver suddenly speeds up and rams the police car which is blocking the road.

The driver shunts the police car for more than 100 metres and then drives away.

Police are still searching for the lorry driver, according to local media.

Shocking footage has emerged from China of a lorry driver pushing a police car forward along a road to avoid being inspected.

The video, filmed in Chuzhou, Anhui Province on July 22, shows a police man stopping an oversized and overloaded lorry and the licence plate of which is covered.

However, the driver suddenly speeds up to drive off and pushes the police car blocking in front of it forward for more than 100 metres.

The lorry driver eventually drive away and police was trying to find him.
