Referee felled by goalkeeper is sent off

Scott Hartley was goalkeeper for Buxton FC during a Northern Premier League game, away against Whity Town FC on December 17th 2011. When his lunging tackle on a Whitby forward in the penalty area was
deemed a foul and a penalty given by referee Mr Dicicco from Middlesbrough, the goalkeeper wasn't too happy. He charged towards the referee remonstrating with his arms and suddenly the referee fell
backwards in a balletic pose.

Despite the apologetic attempts by the goalkeeper the referee pulled a red card out of his muddied back pocket and sent the keeper off. But Scott Hartley did not want to leave quietly and continued to remonstrate. Eventually he gave up and left the pitch to the derision of the home crowd, who were actually laughing during the initial incident, as it was that funny.

I suppose Scott also had the last laugh as substitute keeper Adam Billard saved the penalty and Buxton won 3-4 despite his sending off and playing with ten men!
