Hilarious video from the Newsflare archive from Thailand of a giant carp slapping a British angler in the face.

In the clip, which was captured at a carp lake in Krabi in late 2016, a holidaymaker from the UK hold their impressive catch out of the water when suddenly the monster carp flips, slapping one of the men in the face. Stood next him holding the giant carp is the group's fishing guide, Lee.

Amateur angler Tony Bradshaw, a taxi driver from Hertfordshire, is almost knocked over by the fish and then complains of ringing in the ears.

"My friend Tony was told not to touch the tail of the fish but as usual he paid not attention and paid the price with a slap in the face," explained filmer Mark Rayner, a taxi driver from Essex who was also on holiday.
