Dramatic security camera footage of a motorcyclist sliding on a road for 20 metres after falling off his bike.

In the clip, which was captured in Karamay, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on July 31, the motorcyclist approaches a junction at considerable speed.

Suddenly a car turns in front of the biker and he falls as he attempts to avoid the vehicle.

The biker's momentum sees him slide along the tarmac - narrowly avoiding the car - for twenty metres.

He survived the crash with only minor injuries.

The CCTV video, captured in Karamay, Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on July 31, shows a speeding motorcycle suddenly flipping over at a junction before bumping in to a car, while the motorcyclist falling down and rushing out of the road for 20 metres.

Then, the motorcyclist stands up by himself and walks towards to the car.

According to local media, the motorcycle lost control as the rider suddenly braked to avoid a car turning a corner.

Thanks for the helmet, he only had skin trauma.

The case was in further investigation.
