The Monkey Waitress without English subtitle (NHC0027)
Utsunomiya, Tochigi prefecture, Japan. Kaoru Otsuka, who runs a bar called Kayabuki, saw the monkeys at Nikkō one day and could not forget how cute they were, so he took some monkeys off of an acquaintance’s hands. After that, his monkeys started to help wait on his customers of their own accord, so his bar started to draw some attention. Then, both domestic and foreign media outlets started reporting on them and business picked up perhaps a little too much. Before he knew it, his little bar became a hit and has been going strong for 29 years. (Filmed on 27th May, 2017)
