Leopards Mating - Persuasive Female vs. Lazy Male
Seeing the elusive and mostly solitary leopard in the wild is always a treat. Seeing 2 leopards mating is rather special. Watch this female having to persuade this lazy male several times before he eventually agrees to get up and mate with her. We have to add that this was day 2 of mating for them. Same as lions, these big cats will mate every 15mins on average, for 2 -3 days, nonstop! So the big old male was rather tired and the female had to pull out all the stops to keep things going. The male emits harsh, growling cries, snarling as he symbolically bites the female's' nape in the end. .
