EF1 Tornado Aftermath in Salisbury, MD
At about 1:38 PM on Monday, August 7 an EF1 tornado hit my town moments before I drove through. Two cars were lifted off the ground and landed upside down, trees were split in half, emergency vehicles were speeding down the roads, roofs were torn off, telephone poles and street signs were lifted off the ground. Thankfully there were no bodily injuries.
This was a really emotional event for me as my daughter, her friend, and I narrowly missed the center of the tornado. I shudder to think it could have been our car flipped off the ground.
