Sunbathing Seal fights for his spot
This seal (bobbing on his own in the sun) had been there for approx. 45 minutes catching the rays, Many swimmers, kayakers, paddleboards had gone passed him, to which he was not fazed. Two smaller little pups came along, it looks like they decided they wanted that same sunbathing spot, they slowly swam closer, sometimes together and then sometimes one by one, until they come as close as they do in this video.
You can see the two smaller seals close in, one shows his fin (in my head he is giving me a wave) as the other fights for his spot.
It resulted in the two seal backing off and leaving the mother seal to enjoy his chill time, on his own in peace.
