KENMORE WA: At 6:24 PM today crews with Northshore fire, Kirkland, Shoreline, and Bothell responding to a commercial structure fire in the 15000 block of Juanita Dr NE. Upon arriving crews found heavy smoke and flames visible.

I spoke with Shop owner Mohamed Souaiaia regarding what happened. He states it started in the front of the business at the smoker. He was the owner one inside at the time and escaped with minor smoke inhalation. PIO confirms he was treated and released onscene. Mohamed did not want to be on camera but expressed concern to me regarding his insurance and the possibility of rebuilding. Mohamed states that he is a whole sale dealer and this happening could cripple him. He is also concerned about his customers as he has no access to contact them to say their orders cannot be fulfilled.
