Over a hundred of rescuers save toddler trapped in well in China
Footage has emerged from China of over a hundred of rescuers using more than a dozen of excavators to save a toddler trapped in a deep well.
The video, filmed in Xi'an, Shaanxi Province on September 2, shows excavators and firefighters working on scene to rescue the 18-month-old boy.
According to local news, the boy fell into the well accidentally, when he was taken out to play by his grandparents.
The boy reportedly fell 40ft deep into the 30cm large well and excavators were used to widen the hole and rescue him.
Food and water were delivered to the child every hour during the ten-hour long rescue.
The boy was sent to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
